I’m bringing all this together at YARAYOGA. My yoga classes are a combination of breathing exercises, yoga poses and relaxation/meditation. You will be working on your balance, strength and flexibility.
After a decade of working in the corporate world, I myself had experienced the consequences of being out of balance. My mind worked overtime, and my body was exhausted. Yoga has helped me to enhance my self-awareness. I have learned to listen to my body and my needs and have adapted to a way of life accordingly. I love to share my own experiences with others and to help them discover the benefits of yoga and to connect body and mind. My wish is to enthuse and inspire people.

Tessa received her internationally recognised yoga teacher certification after accomplishing the Hatha Yoga Teacher Training at the Sivananda Yoga Vedanta Ashram in Kerala, India. Afterwards she completed a Hatha Yoga Teacher Training with Vijay Amar in India. She has also practiced yoga with several other Yoga Teachers in India.
Tessa attends classes and workshops with various teachers and in various styles to deepen her own practice and to gain new inspiration. Tessa is a Registered Yoga Teacher with Yoga Alliance United States and Yoga Teachers Association the Netherlands. Tessa completed a training for mindfulness trainer at SeeTrue and Centre for Mindfulness in Amsterdam, the Netherlands.
In addition, she completed a training for life coaching at the Atma Institute in Amersfoort, the Netherlands.
Tessa also completed several courses in Thai Massage.
