Yoga for beginners

Do you have little or no experience with yoga? Then the beginners course is for you!
In 8 classes you will be explained the basics of common yoga poses. In addition, you’ll get information about basic breathing exercises and meditation techniques. Also, each lesson attention is given to topics such as philosophy, history, energy, the different types of yoga and different yoga terms and their meaning will be explained.

The course is given to a group of up to 8 participants, so there is a lot of personal attention.

– Starting Thursday October 4 (total of 8 weeks, every Thursday, except Thursday October 25)
Start and end time: 6.15-7.30 PM
Price: €120 p.p.
Unfortunately it’s not possible to make up a missed class.

I really like that Tessa also talks about the background of yoga, in addition to the exercises we do. Then you also know why you do something. I think it’s a varied program, in which we do some new exercises every week. Each class has a different content, which is of value to me. The breathing exercises are of great value to me. Tessa helps with movements that do not quite work out and looks good at your body.

The program is broader than just the physical aspect, which I really have experienced as pleasant and instructive. I really appreciated the breathing exercises, meditation and body scan, poses and character of Tessa. I think Tessa’s openness and clarity throughout made me feel comfortable and feel at ease. The tea afterwards was a good way to finish the lesson. But what I especially really appreciated was the explanation of the eight limbs of yoga and practicing with the breath and meditation. In these 8 weeks I’ve been able to connect more with myself and that’s the coolest thing I’ve learned from the course.
